M8A1 with the steel tip on the
bottom. Snap has writing on
it, but I can't make it out. I can see the word
"FASTENER CO"
but I cannot make out the other word. There is no other
markings that I see.
M8a1 scabbards marked PWH were made by the blind in Phil. Penn.
in the 60s and early 70s at the Penn. workers home.
Some scabbards are marked TWB for the working blind which is
believed to have been the same company as PWH. |

I picked this up off eBay a while
back. Its a new unissued
box with two PWH scabbards. The box has a ton of text on
which
the photos document below.
The two scabbards are packed together with the following on the
non-rust clear-pak:
1095-508-0339
Scabbard, Bayonet-Knife M8A1
2 Eu.
DO-11-199-S6-00267(W)
A-
It also has a stamp of 12 66 on it which I'm guessing is the date.
The clear-pak has this printed on it in yellow:
NOX-RUST CLEAR-PAK 200B 8/68 21019B
