The Eickhorn-Solingen USM 7 is made from finest bayonet-steel and available with adaptions for most existing assault-rifle in the world. The USM7 is a economic way of equipping each soldier with an irreplaceable tool. Characteristics (Specifications) : The USM 7 is the purest version of a bayonet with a relatively low weight, good balance, for use in toughest field-work and at a very economic price. Provided the user follows the instructions as to dry and non-oily conditions the USM 7 bayonet made by Eickhorn-Solingen is electrically insulated up to 500 Volts. The Eickhorn-Solingen USM 7 bayonet is temperature-resistant between -40°C and +80°C, fungus-resistant, NBC-resistant and de-contaminable. The catch being the sensitive part of a bayonet may be easily exchanged. The scabbard has a self-draining-device to avoid an accumulation of water in the scabbard. The mouthpiece of the scabbard consists of only one piece and isn’t welded which avoids malfunctioning in long-term. The Eickhorn USM 8 A1 scabbard has a polyester textile belt and polyester tie-thongs instead of a cotton ensuring a much better resistancy against fungus in tropical climates. There a no more metal pieces on the ends of the closing-strip of the polyester textile-belt because th ends are heat-cut.
